With all this back and forth between the spectrums of ice cold and blazing hot, pure white and darkest black; in spiritual, emotional, mental and physical standards. It almost makes you feel like you’re being tempered.

There’s a few definitions of “tempered” that I think are important to note. The Old English word “temprian” means, “bring something into the required condition by mixing it with something else… or act as a neutralizing or counterbalancing force to something”.

Have you ever looked up at the sky shaking your fists in a moment of despair or anger asking: “I don’t ask for that much and this is what I get!? WHY?!”. Well my friend you’ve successfully reverse psychology’d yourself. You aren’t getting a lot of ‘xyz’ BECAUSE you’re not asking for it.

We must disarm our weaponized thoughts before they harm us, because the more we pour gas on the fire, the more it burns… But this is all easier said than done, right? How can we actually gather the confidence and security within ourselves to not only confront these thoughts, but to actually snuff out their flames?

Within these thresholds of great change, our reminder is to stay flexible, agile and observant, and care for ourselves along the way.

Taurus and Aries together assure each other that security and stability will be created from a place of harnessing it from the ether, and furnishing it back down into Earthen standards. The problem with all of this is, it’s linearity.

Despite the wild & unpredictable things life can sometimes throw at us, having the ability to come home to center is always available to you. There’s no better feeling of taking your days on your own terms from a place of presence with your unique patterns.

Those eclipses mixed in with this Mercury Retrograde we’re in the middle of really did a number on me. If we’re being honest here, (which we always are).. Into the first few weeks of Spring here in the NE United States, and things are beginning to emerge again into the world! Buds on the trees, tiny green shoots of perennials pushing through the soil, and the bird songs are louder and louder each day.
